I have to admit, I’m a bit of a messy cook. It seems that no matter what I am cooking or baking, some of it somehow ends up on my clothing or in the tips of my hair. The worst of course is when I’m making any kind of soup or sauce. I guess I get a little too fast or sloppy when I’m stirring or adding additional ingredients, so without fail I end up splattering some on the stove top and my shirt. So I try not to rush the job as much and have found that I am a little neater now. Plus I’ve treated myself to a few unique kitchen aprons, so my clothes actually stay clean when I’m cooking.

I found these kitchen aprons online in a kitchen accessories store and I absolutely love them! They’re handmade in the United States and the colors are so vivid. I’ve bought myself the lime green, the raspberry pink, and the bright tangerine orange. Plus I’ve since bought a few for friends as gifts since they like mine so much when they saw them. I like it when I can find something so unique and yet so useful!

If you’ve ever been to a really nice restaurant for breakfast or a Sunday brunch then you’ve probably had the privilege of enjoying a delicious, nutritious glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. Once you’ve had a glass of the fresh stuff it definitely spoils you, making it a bit hard to go back to juice from the container. But you can easily treat yourself to delicious fresh juice right at home anytime with the Black & Decker CitrusMate Plus Juicer.

The large one liter capacity of the CitrusMate Juicer makes it big enough to make plenty of juice for your whole family. And you can store any leftover juice right in the refrigerator-ready pitcher to enjoy later in the day. The juicer includes a strainer for separating seeds out of the juice, a built-in cord wrap, and a cover for storage. It also has small and large cones so you can also juice small citrus fruits like lemon or large ones like grapefruit for fresh grapefruit juice. Once you start making fresh juice for your family and guests, you’ll discover that this convenient electric citrus juicer is a big hit in your home!

I’ve got enough time to peel some potatoes, chop up some garlic, and open a few cans. Now I’ve got dinner ready in the crock pot before I head out to take the dogs on a walk or take the kids out for a fun day at the park. It’s one of those Sundays when I’ve got nothing urgent waiting for me. This is the perfect time for a Lazy Day Roast Beef dinner. We’re going to really enjoy the aroma when we come in from our walk. I’m using one of the most economical cuts of beef you can find, a rump roast. This is the perfect meat to cook for a long, long time. The meat will be tender and fall right apart.

Because most crockpot recipes call for less expensive cuts of meat, you can really watch your budget. I like to search around for recipes that use the rump roast, or a brisket, or shoulder cut, or perhaps a round steak. If you’ve tried these budget cuts in the oven without much success, you probably would be quite pleased if you tried cooking them in your crock pot. Save your tender cuts for the grill!

I bought a stunning oval stainless hanging pot rack that has completely saved my tiny kitchen. The apartment I live in has very limited storage space in the kitchen, just a few small cabinets to store all of my cookware in. As a newlywed, I received a lot of kitchenware as gifts. Here we were with no place to put all of it! I love my new pots and pans, so I figured I might as well show them off. This great pot rack allows me to do so, and saves so much kitchen space. Plus, my favorite pots are just an arm’s reach away when I am working on a cooking project.

The pot rack is very sturdy and it easily holds all of my pots and pans, plus I am able to put a few items on the top shelf on it as well. I really don’t know how I could enjoy cooking in my kitchen without it! I really enjoy how modern it looks because it really fits in with my style. I guess I simply love the look of stainless steel – it feels and looks quite elegant, like a professional restaurant kitchen. I’m so glad I found this great pot rack, it’s added so much to my kitchen accessories and decor!
