I can’t tell people’s ages anymore. Except maybe if you are high school age. Yet when you reach sixty it becomes harder and harder every year. You go and workout at the gym and sweating working really hard next to you is this man who seems to be in great shape. You know just by looking at his trim physique he has taken care of himself. Muscular with hardly any aging lines cross crossing his face, I would estimate the man is around late 40′s. Then I find out that he just turn the big 6-0. Wow. He tells me he doesn’t do anything different than what he did back in this twenties. Some guys just were born with just the right set of genes. And I shouldn’t rule out women here either.

But it isn’t always being born with the right genes. Watching what you eat (caloric intake), working out doing a combination of strength training and cardio will go a long way in keeping anyone’s body looking fit and toned. Staying out of the sun should cut back on ugly, aging wrinkles.

Staying active as one ages not only keeps the body fueled but it does wonder for your disposition. A happy body is able to handle stress which could lead to high blood pressure, and assorted diseases some say, that can effect anyone regardless of age. So embrace turning sixty. After all you have no choice.
