Gift Baskets Make Perfect Birthday Gifts for Children

We often think of gift baskets as unique birthday gifts for men & women, but they can be perfect for children as well. Kids love getting lots of little gifts, especially if you wrap them individually so there’s lot of opportunity for opening things. Think about your little one’s special talents or interests and you can easily come up for an idea for a creative gift basket especially for him or her. For instance, you can make a gift basket for an artist, bookworm, sports lover, science fan, or fan of a particular TV show or film.

Any container will do, although if you can find a container that matches your theme (like a trashcan in the sports’ fan’s favorite team logo) it will be extra special. The dollar store may be a great source of little gifts. You can also try the gift shops in local museums, or the dollar or clearance sections of department stores. Even the grocery store might have something to contribute. Another possibility is to make your own birthday gift baskets that relate to the theme—take a budding artist to the museum or a sports fan to a local game.  If you plan ahead, you can be picking up little things throughout the year and stashing them away for the wonderful upcoming birthday gift you are planning.
