Happy with my Wife’s Garden Structure Choice

My wife and I have a deal, at Christmas we sit down and decide what we want to do or get for the yard that will it a more fun and inviting place to be and pool or money together and purchase that as our gift to one another.  Some of our previous purchases have been more elaborate ones like building onto the deck or a new gas grill.  Others have been practical but most have been decorative elements and garden structures.

Well, this year my wife talked me into purchasing a raised garden bed kit to grow some of our own food.  I laughed because we are the typical eat out 4 to 5 times a week family unless we are cooking on the grill.  But I’ve got to tell you, we got this kit delivered and have read what we need to do and are both excited about growing some of our own food! One of our neighbors who have gardened for years has helped us plan what we want to grow as well as helped me put it together and choose the right soil.  We are now growing seedlings inside the house just waiting for the day we can plant them in the new bed. I feel like I’m six watching these things poke through.  What fun!
