Medieval Scottish Basket Hilt Broadsword

This creation from Paul Chen has a mix of traditional and contemporary makeup. On the one hand, the blade itself is German while on the other hand the hilt and other parts were made with contemporary designs in mind. The result is a very medieval Scottish basket hilt broadsword.

The sword itself is actually one of the best replicas of the swords present in the royal armories of England. The handle looks like a basket, which is where I got my name. The basket also had twin “horned beasties” for added protection in the guard.. More importantly, they are authentic copies to a museum piece. The blades are fully functional and are battle ready with its carbon steel metal.

Also, Scottish swords collectors shouldn’t forget about the fact that what the set also includes a scabbard to properly keep their broadswords in. Truly, while the blade itself is fully functional, they would make great additions to any collection any kind of person would want to flourish in. So don’t miss your chance to get your very own basket and broadsword now!
