Plastic Sheds and Greenhouses

Though there are some advantages to owning a wooden shed, it can be expensive to build or buy one. You will also need to treat it regularly for termites and other infesting bugs as well as water damage. You will need to treat it to keep the pests at bay and paint it every two years or so. At our new home, I decided to go with a plastic shed. Plastic sheds are darn near maintenance free so I have done nothing but hose it down once in the last year. It holds its shape and color and has been great for storage and the kid’s balls and toys just bounce off the side with no damage at all!

Since I liked the plastic shed so much, I recently bought a plastic greenhouse in kit form. I was extremely impressed with the easy instructions and aluminum frame as well as the snap on plastic panels. It took little more than two hours from start to finish before it was ready to go. I did have the foundation prepared before hand. The greenhouse has been fun for all of us as we have experimented with growing eatables and flowers. We’re still learning about greenhouse gardening and I can’t think of a better greenhouse to do that with.
