The Most Unforgettable California Weekend Getaway Deals Ever

After a grueling week at work, I decided I needed a break. I fired up my browser to look for the best weekend getaway deals possible. Destination – The Golden State! I have always wanted to visit California. Sun, sea and sand (castle) competitions sounded like the perfect weekend escape. Within minutes, I had booked my ticket and packed my bags.

Judging by the number of families on my flight a weekends getaway to California seemed extremely popular. A short interstate flight and quick check in later, my holiday finally began! The next two days were a blur of events. There was the trip to Sea World, slow walks down the most beautiful beaches I had ever seen, an unforgettable visit to Legoland, and to cap it off, a harbor cruise where I chilled with the stars and resplendent skyline. Unfortunately, it was only a fraction of what this great state had to offer, as San Diego was my only stop. It was well worth it and I look forward to exploring more of this beautiful state – California weekend getaways will definitely become a monthly affair!
